Abendruhe is a balanced, decaffeinated single origin coffee from Guatemala. Notes of chocolate, caramel, and nutty sweetness create a well-rounded flavor profile with mild acidity. It is suitable for espresso, as well as for fully automatic machines, moka pots, and filter coffee.

Abendruhe is a decaffeinated single-origin Arabica from Guatemala. Carefully selected and gently processed, this coffee combines a mild body with pleasant sweetness and very subtle acidity.

Notes of chocolate and caramel meet a delicate, nutty aftertaste. This makes Abendruhe taste well-rounded, harmonious and full-bodied – without the typical impression of a compromised decaffeinated coffee.

Best suited for: Portafilter, automatic machine, moka pot and filter

Abendruhe is the right choice for anyone who doesn't want to miss out on good coffee in the afternoon or evening. As an espresso, it convinces with pleasant sweetness and a round body. In combination with milk, the chocolatey and nutty notes are clearly preserved.

The coffee comes from Guatemala and consists of the Arabica varieties Catimor and Sarchimor. The beans are wet-processed and decaffeinated using a water process method.

Preparation instructions

Decaffeinated coffee often reacts a little more sensitively to grind size and extraction time. If the espresso tastes too flat, a slightly finer grind is recommended. If it becomes too compact or bitter, it should be ground a little coarser or extracted for a shorter time.
